Abstract information:

We encourage the submission of high quality abstracts across the full breadth of contemporary biomechanics research, including but not limited to: assistive devices, balance, cellular mechanics, comparative biomechanics, ergonomics, exoskeletons, gait, head and neck, lower extremity, molecular mechanics, motor control, orthopaedics, orthotics, posture, prosthetics, robotics, spine, sports, teaching, tissue mechanics, upper extremity. In concert with ASB’s enhanced efforts to increase diversity in the field, we encourage submission of abstracts reporting studies of under-represented populations and health disparities. Furthermore, appropriate descriptors of study participants should be included in submitted abstracts, such as the age and sex composition of the sample.

Abstracts must conform to the formatting and other requirements indicated in the downloadable submission guidelines and abstract template document (available in Word format or pdf).

Information is available on the main ASB site regarding awards and travel grant applications. Please note award and travel grant applications or nominations are due by the abstract deadline.
